BUSING AVAILABLE

The TRAFFIX bus program has made a huge improvement in the traffic congestion at Vista Grande. The service has been consistently on time, the kids love riding the bus, and parents are saving a lot of time and money.

VISTA GRANDE ELEMENTARY

The TRAFFIX bus program is excited to continue to providing safeconvenient and affordable transportation for students. The program has helped reduce the number of vehicle trips during school pick-ups and drop-offs and significantly reduces the carbon footprint in Danville and San Ramon every year.

Parents are saving time and money and kids love riding the bus. This helps your student build confidence and independence while doing a great service to our community in getting cars off the road during rush hour.

TRAFFIX plans to serve three routes at Vista Grande Elementary: VG-1, VG-2 and VG-3

Please consult the TRAFFIX website to see what bus works for your student.

*** Please note that during Assessment Dates the buses will leave at regular dismissal time (see August Bell Schedule at a Glance on the home page) which will affect the 1st and 2nd grade students dismissal (parents of 1st and 2nd graders will need to find alternate pick up from school on those dates)***

IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP FOR TRAFFIX

Ridership on the TRAFFIX bus program has grown even more this year. We’re seeing less traffic at school and our riders are developing important life-skills outside the classroom. It’s safe, convenient and reliable, and the kids just love it.

They now offer a payment plan – for just $30 a month your child can ride the bus everyday – that’s cheaper than driving!

So please, if you haven’t done so yet, log onto their website at www.RideTRAFFIX.com or call (925) 866-8739 to find the route near your home. This is a win-win for all families, because the more kids we have on the bus, the less congestion we have in our neighborhoods and at school.
