The Vista Grande Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every student while building a strong, connected school community. Through family events, educational programs, volunteer opportunities, and school support, the PTA helps make Vista Grande a welcoming and vibrant place for students, families, and staff.
Throughout the year, the Vista Grande PTA organizes and supports many of the events and programs that bring our community together, including:

Becoming a PTA member is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to support Vista Grande. Every membership helps fund the programs, events, and experiences that enrich our school community and benefit all students. We encourage every family to join during Fall Registration in August. As an added benefit, every PTA membership includes access to the Vista Grande School Directory.

The PTA coordinates fundraisers throughout the year—including the Fall Carnival, Sweetheart Dance, Spring Art Show, Yearbook, and Spirit Wear—to help fund the programs, events, and activities that enrich the Vista Grande experience for all students.
Looking for a way to get involved? Volunteering with the PTA is a great way to meet other families, support our students, and make a meaningful impact on our school community.

PTA Reimbursement Procedures

PTA Reimbursement Procedures
PTA will reimburse for all expenses directly related to a PTA-sponsored event and approved by the Chair of the Event or PTA membership. Keep all receipts associated with the expense. We cannot reimburse without receipts. PTA-sponsored events include Carnival, Art Show, Winter Wonderland Dance, Parents’ Night Out, Red Ribbon, Reflections, & Field Day. All requests must be submitted within one month of the related event date. Any late requests will require PTA membership approval for reimbursement. All requests will be processed within three weeks of the date received. Payment should be received within 4 weeks and can be picked up in the VG office.
To be reimbursed from PTA:
- Complete a PTA Payment Authorization Form which can be found in the VG office or by clicking the button below
- Include your name and address and a description of the purchase and event name.
- When necessary, get your Event Chair Approval
- Staple any invoices or receipts to the form. You will not be compensated without receipts!
- Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your request if you want the check mailed directly to you
- Return your request to the office
- Pick up your payment check in the VG Office if you do not include an envelope.
