THE FALCON FOREST
THE FALCON FOREST
THE FALCON FOREST
The Falcon Forest is a wellness center established in our prior Technology Lab space which is within our Library.
The vision was to overhaul this space and make it a location where students can enjoy lunch recess for those
who would prefer an indoor location filled with legos, magnetiles, books, games, and more. This space is also
used by our teachers and students throughout their school days as an alternative learning location.
The items in this space were graciously donated by our Vista Grande students and families!
Thank you for making this vision turn into a reality!
OUR STUDENTS LOVE THIS AMAZING SPACE!!!

REPORT RESOURCES
For additional resources for reports the Web Path Express on our Library Catalog may be helpful. WebPath Express is a part of the library catalog, and directs students to Internet resources that can help fill in some of the information that they may need for a report. In addition to our library, the Danville Library has many books, and you can request that a book from another branch be sent to be picked up by you here in Danville at no charge. You may currently request an eCard on the library web site if you don't have one. As a resident of California you may request a library card from any county library, and Dublin, for example has a very nice Children's section.

Click the links below for some reading ideas from our library catalog. Click on the books themselves to explore more ideas from that author or series with the "Find It" button. If you find something you like, you can check it out the next time you come to your library with your class or during your lunch recess time.

We will still be participating in the 2023 California Young Reader Medal Books. We will be starting with the three picture books for older readers this fall. Students hearing the three books will be voting for their favorite. Students in all grades will be voting for their favorite of the five picture books for elementary students in March. See below for information on the CYR chapter books for grades 4 & 5. These books may be read as a class or independently.CYR CHAPTER BOOKS 📚
These are the California Young Reader chapter books for 2020-2021. If your teacher is not reading them to the class this year, try a library hold from the the Vista Grande or public library to check one of these books out!
